Berta Roth directs workshops with actors and dancers through use of dramatic scripts. The objective of these workshops is to develop the « WORDS IN MOVEMENT » technique. It is a creative process that, though use of the script, seeks to unite movement, sound and meaning. The goal is to create « scenographic writing » from the shapes that emerge from each participant’s incorporation of the script.
The workshops are designed for theatre troupes who wish to learn an innovative technique either within the framework of stage direction, or as part of a training for « people of the stage ». Workshops last from one week to several months.
